Confused about setting instructions for annual calender

I am a new member, having just purchased my first Patek - a Ref. 5396.

If I understand the instruction booklet correctly (which also covers the 4936/4937/5146/5147), it is recommended that the time be set to 6am before correcting the settings.  With respect to the moon-phase, the instructions state to display a full moon and then count forward the number of days since the last full moon, "including the day on which you make the correction".   However, the instructions also state that the moon-phase  changes between 9am and 11am.  Therefore, it would seem that if the moon-phase is set at 6am, and your count includes the day you make the setting, then the moon-phase would actually be off by one day (forward) when the moon-phase display changes between 9am and 11am that day.   It would seem then that you should not count the day of the correction when setting the moon-phase (if the time is set to 6am, or any time before 9am).   Does this make sense?

I will be at the AD later this week, and while I'm know they can help, I am anxious to get things set-up correctly.  Thank you for any input.
