Finally! Here is the new Enamel Patek Philippe 5231J. 38, 5 mm big, 10, 23 mm high. Cal 240 HU with a power reserve of 48 hours. A superb enamel dial. I just hope that we'll have some white metal versions, later... Best, Nicolas ...
Generally, I’m not into YG at all but it goes extremely well with a colorful enamel dial. The case of the 5230/5231 is great although I would prefer it at 39,5 mm.
IF.... ;-) i missed the boat on the 5131. So I have been waiting for this one since I like the 5230. ....And...I like it, so far. But you know, pictures is one thing. To try, is an other ;-) Are you on the train?
The subtle design change of the lugs (which seems to be a nod to the 2523), the removal of the text at six and twelve, and the removal of the crown guards seem like such small differences but the total package feels so much nicer than the 5131. This watch...

Yes the Patek and Geneve lettering are on the dial but somehow there is a shadow from the letters. Do you think it is on the glass surface of the cloisonne dial and not the base layer? Maybe that is why there is a shadow? ...
The new 38.5mm WT lacks the crown guard of the 5131, so is the 1mm (smaller) difference in the case due only to the absence of the crown guards? I believe they measure from 10 to 4 and it seems that the watch May truly be the same size but slimmer so to s...
