6119R versus other RG dress watches?

Hello ladies and gents, I’m new to the forum and was wondering if you may share your recommendations on a high-end, rose gold dress watch. The one I’ve centered my attention most on is the PP Calatrava 6119R—I love the eye-catching bezel, the just under 4...

Get two 5078s...

...always good to have a backup. Seriously, get the Patek 6119. The hobnail sets it apart and the new movement is fine, even if they wimped out on inward angles...

If only...

But thank you for the vote of confidence--I'm currently waiting for it to arrive at my local boutique, very close to pulling the trigger!

Wonderful selection! I would personally go for Lang and Heyne because of the rarity and quality ...

VC manual traditionnelle pieces are also worth taking a look at. Also Audemars Piguet used to make beautiful ultra thin dress automatics. If you are ok with smaller size, how about PP 5119R ?

You seem to really like silver dials, roman numerals and rose gold cases

Why not Cartier? Maybe a rose gold drive.

Good observation, thank you!

I'm more familiar with their square/rectangular options but I will look into the drive...Nice that it has a demonstrator caseback too

Welcome to our forum !

Trust that you will receive some (or maybe too many) good suggestions. Since this is a Patek forum, I would recommend the 5227R with a lovely and discrete officer case cover.

Thank you, the 5227R is a great suggestion...

Hoping to try on that and the 6119R at my local boutique when they are both in-stock in the next few months

You are welcome !

At this price point (same as 6119R), and not pre-owned, similar in terms of finishing, this model worth for every cents you paid. Just got 6119G last week. Check the price of others alternatives and better rush to put your interest with AD as need a year ...

I used to think this watch was ugly in pictures-

Then I saw it in real life. It’s spectacular. Buy it. It would be my 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices over your other suggestions.

These are all great choice and it really come down to what trigger the most passion and emotion for you.

You may also consider the Vacheron Traditionnelle ...

I guess you are fixed on the getting rose gold, in particular the RG 6119R. So was I, that was, until I saw this one below.

The 6119R is such a beauty, I couldn't get it out of my mind when I saw pics. I still love it. But, then, when my mind was totally set to get the 6119R, I was lucky to be able to hold both RG and WG versions in my hands and compare them side by side. I ha...

I vote for the Lang and Heyne

Urban Jurgensen. Available only used now, but the tear drop lugs on the dress manuals is awesome and there is an array of metals and guilloche dials. All 40mm.
