M4 and I discussed this exact watch and topic about a week ago.
There has / had been one on C24 for ages, and we had both come across it in past searches. I told him, if I ever meet Michel, I am going to ask about this watch. I want to know if anyone at the company proposed completely eliminating the date on this model. It is just so obvious, I cannot believe the final version. On the flip side, Parmigiani has included some incredibly quirky details over the years on many models. And we all like different things; I'm thrilled Chico bought this outstanding piece.
