At this price point, it’s hard to overlook

Sorry it did not work out for you in the end. So many wonderful options these days, none of us needs to ever settle, especially in this price league. The bracelet on my Minute Rattrapante and Mineral Blue no date is one of my favorite features of the watc... 

They needed a bigger crown for the Rattrapante’s, which actually fixed the issues!

I concur on the crown: it's too small. I also had a hard time pulling it out to set the time and adjust the date, which were big reasons why I moved on from the watch. Like you, I also purchased a 1.5 link for my bracelet and that gave me a comfortable an... 

I really wanted to love the piece, but the day-to-day with it were less enjoyable than I expected. The bummer is that those should all be easily fixable, and the PF Tonda would be one of the best pieces in the market, period.

I appreciate your candid feedback. I have never owned but only tried on and admired from afar. The lack of lume was what deterred me at the time.

For an integrated sports watch, the lack of lume is an omission. I would have been willing to overlook it, if it wasn’t for the other downsides.

The small crown used to drive me crazy when trying to adjust the time. The final point was the fact that the service from Parmigiani Fleurier was such a disappointment as a result both of mine are gone.

So, I didn’t get to experience their service. I do wonder how the novel movements will hold up with time, like the Mystery Chronograph, and even the Rattrapantes. PF recently extended their warranty to 5 years, which is a good move!

I still can't decide if it's acclimation or just not as inspired on the wrist at home as I was in the store (and at W&W), so I haven't let it go yet... it's missing a certain je ne sais quoi

Perhaps some of their pastel dial colors would bring a bit more interest.
