F.P. Journe Octa Zodiaque. Probably not the most favored but does it belong on a bracelet?

It is under appreciated. Looking to add one to my collection one day. Unique complication. Works with a bracket but better contrast on a strap. [nt]

there are a lot of options out there
easy to snag one up. I'm considering selling it but was playing with the bracelets and noticed the octa RDM bracelet fits this one perfectly. might split the bracelet of the RDM and leave it a while on the zodiac.

The Octa Zodiaque is a really special piece. To me it’s interesting, because I am actually looking at one these days and thinking if I should add it. It is quite a special complication that I really love. I think it has a poetry to it, and I love the bold dials the screw heads. I think it has huge character!!
I also heard that it is a piece that had some issues with the change of the Zodiaque, but I don’t know if that is long since solved. I would love to hear your experience with the watch?
I absolutely love the bracelet - a few years ago, I went from strictly strap person to really loving well designed bracelets. This one is so good when you try it. It personal preference , of course, but as you say it makes the dual stand out more.
I would love to hear more about your experiences and impressions with this watch.

So glad Journe has its own section now. it has been a while. taking some time to catch up with everyone's post. The zodiac brings a lot of joy to me it's puzzling on how it is probably the least desirable piece from FP. Personally, the watch works great no issues with the disc sticking or anything else. I've read about the issues but I feel with many Journes or even independents timepieces issues can be sporadic, As a watch, I find it very intriguing as you know his dials are very detailed as everything has a purpose the screws holding the dial together. looking into the differences in depth from the zodiac ring to the beautiful ruthenium dial. Finding it very wearable so adding the bracelet has been quite more wearable especially here in south Florida. I have grown to realize that another man's not so desirable piece may be the watch that has hidden beauty and this Journe provides it.
if you plan on getting one I would totally support that, a friend of mine is looking to sell his, we met up over in Miami this Thursday and had some chats about this ruthenium calendrier that he has and wants to get my Centi F anyway let me know if you want me to put you in contact.

Part of what makes this combination work is the predominance of gray.
The metal bracelet compliments the dial. I think a gray strap would work equally as well. But this looks great.
