Il s'agit bien d'une Tank de Cartier. A cette époque la Tank était le modèle le plus désiré par les vedettes de la chanson et du cinéma ainsi que par les VIP.
Son élégance, sa robustesse en faisait la montre des "Grands du Monde.

Yes it is a Tank Louis, they all are on those 4 pics I think.

But the rest are most likely Louis Cartier. Thank you for the participation Mr Pfister, hope to see you here regularly.

You are right two are American Tank, those worn by Rex Harrison and by Valentino (on the large picture).

Hi all,

As the Tank Americaine was launched in 1989, the timepiece that Rex Harrison is wearing is more than likely either a Tank Cintree or a Curved Tank. The 1920's/1930's versions of the Tank Cintree are beautiful examples of early 20th century Cartier watchmaking.   

A very comprehensive history and documentation of the evolution of the Tank watch is provided in The Tank Watch book by Franco Cologni.
