Cartier

The Cartier Pasha with the grained salmon dial is a classic combination with its blued-steel diamond-shaped hands. This modern iteration is in steel with a bracelet uses the SmartLink adjustment system. A second strap in perfectly matched brown alligator skin complements the design with an interchangeable steel folding buckle. 

An old coworker had a steel Pasha and it was so cool on the wrist.

The interesting thing is that as the Pasha picks up Patina from daily wear and tear they almost look better. I have a friend that uses his as a daily and it looks great.

My guy, Craig, was not exactly easy on his watches. The Pasha had lots of wear, and yet it always looked fantastic!

I have its less glamorous cousin. I love the look of yours!

Over a year. But it chirped in my ear for a long time prior to that. It has Such a unique look. I have 3 cartiers—all very different.

It’s instantly recognisable as a Cartier.

The strap Cartier supply is very nice and you could always add a blue strap to complement the beautiful hands.

This version looks very similar and I like the elegant dial.

It’s always going to look good.

I have owned the a Pasha, it was the first steel version of it with tritium lume (Ref. R 4020), but I sold it eventually as I couldn´t get used to the small crown. I know, being an automatic watch this shouldn´t have been much of a problem but as someone who rotates his watches quite frequently it always spoiled the fun giving it a few winds and setting the date with this small thing. But I certainly see the appeal in the Pasha, it just was not for me personally.

Did you consider a watch winder ?

my collection mainly consists of handwound and/or vintage pieces - so it would have been exclusively for the Pasha. I am generally not a friend of winders - no movement no wear on pivots and gears is my doctrine.

Are you considering another Cartier to add to your collection ?

and sold both to fund a Speedmaster but I am sure that someday I will add a Cartier to my collection again. At the moment I have developed a soft spot for vintage timepieces and for the brand Girard Perregaux - they offer such a tremendous value for money that I can add many, many GP pieces for the price of one Cartier from the same era, but when my basics there are covered I will definitely save for a Cartier again. But with my priorities other than watches now (small child, new built house, etc.) Girard Perregaux fits much better budget-wise.

My wife had one . Loved it .

The 35mm version looks perfect on a ladies wrist.
