I finally took off the OEM rubber strap and put the watch on a one-piece US mil-strap. Much more comfortable and versatile IMHO.
It's very comfortable and easy to live with as it handwinds (vintage Seikos didn't have this feature) and hacks.
A great watch for everyday wear without worrying about it too much since it's priced so reasonably.

Totally subjective, but I prefer the classic styling of the Turtle over the Sumo [nt]

The one advantage of the Sumo IMHO are the hands - especially the correctly lumed seconds hand.
