Hublot

Hello guys,


I recently purchased a Hublot 4000M diver and couldn't be happier.  I know I'm going to receive a lot of flak but while big it isn't as large as you think.  Anyway here's my new leather strap that I had commissioned.  Unfortunately to make this work I had to sacrifice the leather/rubber diver in order to make this work.  Anyway here are the pictures.  What do you think?

I think the color combo with Titanium version is good.  But one concern is that would that new strap work or be okay in the water?  Even if you don't dive (neither do I), you may want to wear it around the pool, shower or bathe?

Thanks!!!!  However water is a big NO unfortunately.  Since none of my watches get near H2o I'll be fine.  It's the price you pay for having leather I guess

.. of course there will be an expenditure again, but shark skin is generally cheaper than leather and it IS made for wetting

No more expenditures for now.  I just pre ordered the 1000M Oceanographic and still have to pay for that when it comes in October/November and my budget is bursting.  Anyway I like smooth black straps with no cracks, striations, marks etc.  I'm very boring just smooth and black.

You DO like Oceanographic!  Let us see the pics when it arrives at you, side by side with 4000!

I actually liked the rubber strap on this watch.  Didn't see it in person, but I liked it in the photos.
