As you may already know, I am a big fan of Hublot watches and own a rainbow version. However, another stunning timepiece caught my attention: the Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire 💎 in 42mm. This particular model was released in 2020 and is smaller than the previously released 45mm version. I particularly love the watch's transparency; the sapphire case is executed flawlessly. 🌟
To celebrate my upcoming birthday 🎂in early March I am happy to share some first photos of this masterpiece:
Last summer, I also bought a transparent strap for my rainbow, and here is how it looks.
Both watches are stunning pieces. The Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire seems more toned down in that, for those unfamiliar with watches or sapphire cases, it may look like a simple watch or even an inexpensive Swatch watch 😅
Of course, the sapphire also has a pretty bold look! But more stealth, maybe? What do you think?

I think the sapphire is definitely the easier one to wear out and about and just enjoy, the rainbow surely catches eyes and that can be good but also bad.
I wonder how reversing the straps might look; so you put the clear strap on the rainbow, what about a non clear strap on the sapphire?

Many would fit, even considering a yellow rubber for summer. For a transparent look, the original strap is the best. The transparent one is made of silicon vs rubber, so it is somehow softer. I will certainly post many photos in the future with different straps!

I am happy with all my 4 Hublot pieces (2 Spirit of Big Bang and two Unico Big Bang) the sapphire was always a dream. My experience with Hublot has been fantastic both in the Boutique and my AD.

and it is not easy to make a watch of sapphire.
I think Hublot has many models which are not
traditional but more like the models in the future.
