TAG Heuer

After I bought my Heuer Silverstone 110.313F from auction, I started to read articles about this piece and came upon what some refer to as the "Other" Silverstone. Upon my good luck, I found one on Friday, with Lemania 5100 movement, model name 510.403. I guess because it doesn't come in Calibre 11 or 12, the value for the watch is low, especially here in HK for Heuer vintage. I guess the next one to find is a reasonably priced Autavia to finish my Heuer vintage collection. I really like these pre-TAG era...









From now, its better to hunt down the originals rather than re-issue pieces...

I've really got the itch for some vintage pieces but I'm torn between those and the new offerings.

Waiting for an Autavia to bite me...

I'm afraid one Autavia will lead to 2,3,4...eventually, bankruptcy! The holiest of grail watches for me is the Autavia Indy500. One going up for auction at Christies next week. Expecting $100-150k. Unfortunately I only have one extra kidney to sell
