I agree. It is not trying to be a Dayto
By: Bill : December 13th, 2011-21:48
It has enough style that is can stand on by itself. This means the Daytona "PN" is still a target.
At the base level I can enjoy this one.

Either its Panerai or Vintage Rolex
Your collection of vintage rolex is really amazing
And as for this one, I really love it..
I didn't really care for one until I saw the new Tudor Heritage Chrono, and of course the original version is so much better with stronger character
Enjoyed this a lot Bill
Tank you for sharing
Cheers,
Sam

There is certainly some commonality between Rolex and Panerai and I guess that is why I gravitate towards those brands.
I am lucky to have many collector brother on the site that are an inspirations and an education.
It has a lot to do with sharing the experiences and I tanks you and the others for always participating and expanding this great hobby.
Best

And I've been reading many resources on Vintage Rolex
But seems to be a more dangerous game than Panerai
But I'm sure being a collector, it must be really exciting to learn and get as much experience as possible
Indeed we're lucky to have this forum as a place for many collectors to talk and share the passion and opinion
Best,
Sam

Great pictures Bill ! very nice watch
Here is my 7169. It is still new and unworn. The dial is super clean which is rare for a tudor grey dail. Normally there are white spots. Only thing is that the minute hand is a bit corroded, but I have a NOS handset if I ever want to replace it.
