Starbucks lost something?
They sure did, lots of customers who may not come back despite the changes the new CEO is making.
Starbucks is convenient as there is one on nearly every street corner now. There is much better coffee
to be had elsewhere though, for less money. He did however make a nice watch choice.
I agree. Worst tasting coffee (if you order coffee flavored coffee).
Over roasted. Burnt by the store. Highest levels of caffeine
If I go to a Starbucks the only drink I will order is
a latte or cappucino, hot, not iced.
I have the app and have had it for years, have money
on my card but suspect it will still be there come spring.
At some point I will go just to use what is on the card.

I want to live in the world where all coffee tastes like it does in Italy turkey or France…
Something I heard a looooong time ago.
America drinks the most coffee in the world, yet we drink the worst coffee in the world. In my opinion things have
change over the years with more and more specialty coffee shops opening up, and specialty coffee being available.
When that statement was made I Imagine it was in the day when stores only offered a couple of brands of coffee and it
was ground and not whole bean. Also more and more brewing methods have become available both to the home brewer
and the specialty shops. No, I personally do not consider Starbucks a specialty shop, they seem to have lost their way in the quest
to be the biggest coffee shop. Maybe, just maybe the new CEO can start to turn things around.

I have to chime in here…
I abhor this company now…there are, thankfully, many more options out there with local brewers…but, regardless of taste, etc., I find it beyond infuriating that when I would go in and order a black coffee…they couldn’t just pour it…I had to wait until they got to my order, after they made all these disgusting, 500 calorie plus drinks which take forever as they are “hand crafting” them, and the nail in the coffin would be them filling “mobile orders” for people not even there…so here I am, in a lost world where people actually used to meet in person, interact, etc., and have to wait sometimes for 5-10 minutes or more, for a coffee that takes 5 seconds or less to pour…as I sit and watch the hand crafted mobile orders pile up for people that show up when they show up…and the sheep that just sit there with their noses in their phones conditioned to wait and wait for their orders…this is the scene at all of their stores.
Nah, they won’t get my money any longer. There is a lot of bad coffee out there, but, we have an espresso maker at home and a couple of good local shops…happy to see this company go down the drain…and the coffee is mediocre at best…usually, burnt tasting, etc…only one or 2 blends I could drink.
But, I like the guy’s Daytona!
