I would not play in my 5205 or FPJ, but Rolex should be able to absorb the impact of hitting the ball. I’ve asked multiple dealers who confirmed this as well.
I remember RM brands share a measure of impact their watch are supposed to be able to sustain but I dont recall ever seeing this metric from any other brand!

I golf in all my Rolexes (except presidential) and my panerai. I haven’t had an issue. Lots of guys in my club golf in their watches and most of those are Rolexes.
