Back on my wrist after more than 6 months.
It’s such a joy to wear this Daytona. I very much prefer its rather slim case over the ones of the GMT and Sub which are a bit bold IMO (not even talking about the Sky-Dweller or others). I’m really starting to struggle with those big cases, and eventually I might end up with keeping just the Daytona and the Milgauss GV Z-Blue and selling all other Rolex watches. But who knows. Totally agree. I am downsizing my Rolex collection as well. Rediscovering pre Super case subs and explorers recently.
You have some good points, my friend. The Daytona is a pleasure to own and wear, that's for sure. Now, a current GMT MASTER... Ok, the case and especially the lugs are big, but...

The Daytona is cool I have one and like it. But I prefer my Milgauss too.
today it’s my birthday, I’m struggle with my ad since one year for a gmt because I like it too to make a long story short it was supposed to be my gift today but No news from Rolex since months

The current ceramic Daytona is such a great watch to wear and Rolex got everything right with it's construction as well...
I wear both of mine often and seems to fit all situations with ease.
Nice to see it back on your wrist, especially with some of your other great watches.
It looks great on you ! Personally I have the opposite struggle , since 2017 I wore my Daytona less than ten times , I probably end up selling it at some point , but I love my GMT’s . Enjoy yours in the best of health . [nt]

Strangely, I had the same feelings as you a couple of years ago.
At that time, I sold some watches too quickly and the regrets came later on. I hope I have learned my lesson.
Agree completely. It’s so nice to wear. Rolex watchmakers worked hard to make sure the 4130 had similar dimensions to the Zenith movement. [nt]

I think the Milgauss and Air king have the best cases Rolex makes. I love them
