I am a big fan of Daytonas. Have long wanted a gold bracelet Daytona and have bought more than one. They never seemed to work for me ...
and then this came along. 1993 NOS 16518 Zenith with inverted 6, at 1/2 the price of comparable steel 16520. Unlike gold bracelet Daytonas, for me this is less showy and more comfortable weight wise. Plus I love the Arabic numeral dial and over all look. Relatively rare compared to 16520 it is surprising to me that 16518 hasn’t (yet) gained a wider audience. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this model. I would love to to read feedback / thoughts the Forum members have regrading 16518. Perhaps others have this model. Best, Patekova

As you said 16518 have not skyrocketed yet...but since gold watches(especially Daytonas) are becoming more and more sought after prices will increase very soon as it happened for the 16528. The strapped version is definitely more elegant and understated than the full gold version.

A future grail as far as I'm concerned.
In 20 years, when the flimsy bracelet/endlinks/clasp of the mass-produced 16520/16523/16528 will have loosened to such an extent as to become unwearable (many already are), the 16518/16519 will have stood alone the test of time, literally.
