Dodged a bullet this week
in one of my more foolish moments I traded this gorgeous watch for a seadweller 43...which is very nice...plus a credit...within 5 minutes of wearing the SD I realized how foolish I was and thankfully due to many purchases and a great relationship with the dealer I was able to reverse the trade and my baby is back with me never to leave again. 3 days of little to no sleep and a lot of stress clouded my decision making...never again.
So I want to add a piece...for everyday wear...to this and my brand new speedmaster. I’m thinking white faced Explorer 2 40mm.
That was my first Rolex ever bought brand new in 3001 long ago traded. What do you guys think? It’s either that or a black/red GMT.
This 1680 Red Submariner is a marvel. You did very well to get it back. Now, I would add a GMT Coke. That would be a great addition. The 16750 Explorer II can wait a bit more. [nt]

Every time I plan to unload a timepiece...
I have those sleepless and worried nights prior to consummating the deal and I did in fact back out a couple of deals in the past — the buyer didn’t show up or appears to be a flipper — didn’t have an ounce of regret. In moment like this, you have to just trust your instinct and make a firm decision. Glad you kept those beauties.
