Without investment reasoning
By: Gelato Monster : October 12th, 2018-21:56
I would take this over every Daytona.
Pre Daytona chronos and Paul Newman on the other hand are in totally different league of gorgeousness and investment game

Interesting. For me, the 16520 is the best Daytona reference. [nt]

Fascinating, but

Never went to the market.
By: Arie - Mr Orange : October 12th, 2018-08:47
Maybe it is even a fake? I don’t know (as Rolex never comments). Anyway this has never been produced for consumers.

A Rolex which was not meant to see the light outside the Rolex Manufacture. As it was a proto for chronometry purposes. [nt]

I've seen this kind of dial in many movement in school...except for the 1861 training movement from wostep, the dial was black and very similar with speedy.

For me
By: MTR : October 13th, 2018-00:36
with the Rolex Logo it would be perfect. So the dial is unconventional clean but feels somewhat empty.

I don’t trust any of this prototype dial. They were not born with the watches, somehow made there way out of the factory [nt]
