"And the Day Date II (41 mm) just looks wrong in any way possible." To you, perhaps. To others, maybe not so much. It certainly does not look wrong to me and I voted with my wallet, having added, just under four weeks ago, a new platinum Day-Date II, to go with my rose gold Day-Date II and my other platinum Day-Date II. To me, they look as right as can be, in every way possible.
I'm on the fence for now, as far as the new Day-Date 40 is concerned. I've seen them in the metal, but have yet to try one on. However, I think we can all agree that they're terrific watches.

I'm merely suggesting perhaps slightly less provocative and absolute pronouncements, that's all. We all have our own views and likes and I fully get and respect that.

Ok you don't like but I don't think that it is/was wrong.
