The 5001/5007 has always been a model that I love, and am seriously considering adding one (finally!) in either the steel with burgundy dial (my favorite color) or the rose gold gray dial (my favorite dial/case material combo). Regardless of whatever combination, this model is seriously iconic and is a true lifetime watch in my opinion. That, and the ability to change it up with the multitude of 22mm straps out there, is a huge advantage as well. Nicely done!

I bought this watch to wear to my wedding and I chose it because I hoped it would be timeless. 10 years on it has aged well.
I love this reference from IWC. One of the best currently available from manufacture.
Ahhh the 5001-07ā¦.. one of the only watches that I purchased new.
It is such a wonder piece.
