IWC

Been playing around with the micro lens for a group project, I really do think IWC is underrated by watch collectors.

Purpose is to take real world close ups and compare finishing and quality of different milestone pieces from different brands. Will post them here as well

I am a big admirer of your photo skills AND your wonderful Portugieser.
Yours already has the new movement with ceramic parts and two barrels. As far as I remember.

And you are right. IWC is underrated.
Two of my most beloved watches are made by IWC. They are beautifully executed, accurate and super reliable.

But IMHO IWC also made some mistakes in the past. A - for me - confusing product catalogue with too many iterations of always the same and also many pieces in the lower quality segment.

And then there are wonderful watches like for example your Portugieser Perpetual that lets your heart beat faster.

A little confused, is it showing Jan 17, 2022 as Saturday?

I’ve found myself also checking moon phases and dates of IWC perpetuals because of how often something appears out of sync.

I've always loved the double-moon dial IWC perpetuals. Only trouble is they're too darn big for me to wear happily!
