I'm posting this here at HOME.
IWC Porsche Design Ocean 2000 on the OEM velcro strap. Geometry 3 or 3rd Generation bracelet. So comfortable to wear. The watch so light (all Ti) and thin, yet when new was rated to 2000 meters water resistance. Very anti-large watch despite its 43 mm diameter. Probably my favorite wristwatch design of all time.
I have quite an obsession with these watches. This is number seven in the collection including 2 BUND examples.
7 Ocean 2000??? Really? A very original IWC for sure.

Technically 5 Ocean 2000s
and 2 Ocean Bunds. Unfortunately, I don't have the AMAG in my collection yet.
Both my Ocean Bunds are ref. 3529 with Geo 3 bracelets and nylon straps.
One ref. 3500 with Geometry 2 bracelet.
One ref. 3504 with a bead blasted finish and Geometry 2 bracelet.
And two other ref. 3524 with Geometry 3 bracelets not shown here.

Can be worn dressed up (bracelet) and down (nylon strap).

2000 m is overkill. The Ocean Bunds were "only"
tested to 300 m, but you never know when you'll be launched from a mini-sub. ;-) Esp if you're a kampfschwimmer.
Pretty cool on any case. How about 12000 meter Rolex!

The watch was designed in the early 1980s by
Alexander Porsche. 2000 meters at that time was unheard of and even today is a "ridiculous" depth.
Not Ocean(s), but family.
This was truly a memorable history of watch-making--and especially innovations in case design and fabrication. IWC-PD (or PD-IWC, depending on which era!) managed to create a signature series of watches that remains unparalleled in the unity of design language, fabrication innovations, and branding even today. For me these are unfortunately all locked up now because of questionable service standards, and I have moved on--happily--to Omega (a Ti SMC300). But occasionally on a thread like this, it brings back great memories.
