# of PAM 339 Manufactured?

I just took delivery of PAM339 and it's in 300's. Does anyone know how many have been manufactured/produced so far? I understand they're limiting it to 1,500 but not all are made yet.

I've had the 339 for well over a year and it's number 820......Furthermore, because of the known controversies, all the data about the 339 seem to be sketchy at least. For instance I've heard, a while back, that the production number should have been increased to 2000 from the original 1500. On the other hand we'll never know whether they will actually...produce....all of them. With the discolouring and flaking that some of the pieces experienced

it wouldn't surprise me, if there were to be a...gap...in the actual production, pending the stabilization of the material...

Sergio, thanks for your post. Just out of curiosity, why are Panerai watches (LE, SE's) not in sequential order? I don't see any reason for this.

that's the way it....is, with Panerai. I bought my 339 in November 2010 and it's number 820. If your is in the 300ndreds, you've got your proof right there...smile

No big deal, though, is it?

Congrats Alex! I can't agree more with your assessment. It's one of the most beautiful Panerai piece I've seen in real life. Colors on pictures don't do justice. 

Yes even with all the controversies, I didn't hesitate to buy it when I got the call from my rep in Beverly Hills boutique. Perhaps with all the notorious publicity, it'll be more collectible.
