i like them both but what 1 would u get if u could only have 1. not many people seem 2 be talking about the 422

If you don't need a seconds hand, then the PAM372 is perfect.

There's probably not as much chatter about the PAM422 right now because it just debuted at SIHH 2012.  Furthermore, PAM372's started hitting the retail channel not too long ago so people who have been waiting for it from SIHH 2011 are happy are will be "chatting" about it more than the unreleased PAM422.

Both are great Panerai's, and you can't go wrong with either.  But the quick fix to the Panerai virus is to get the PAM372 since that watch actually is attainable right now since it's out in the marketplace.
