Hi

I have ordered a PAM 351, and still waiting, which I think looks amazing and carry the DNA of Panerai.

I am also a great fan of domed sapphire on watches and was thinking, if it is possible to change the standard sapphire with a domed version.. like the sapphire on a PAM 233.

Does anyone in this forum knows if it is possible? And will the AD be willing to do it..?

No Panerai AD will accept to do it.

And I doubt that it is physically possible.

Therefore, I doubt you will do it when you know the price of a domed sapphire.

Some owners of the 127, who had their plexy broken will attest that.

If the dimension of both bezels are interchangable, i really think I'll give it a try!
The idea of a doomed 1950 with tabacco dial and gold hands is very tempting, even if the doom sapphire's price is prohibitively high, however, I don't think the spare parts is easy to attain in any offical channel!

If you can put a domed sapphire crystal in your PAM351, please do let us know if it works out.  I'm curious to see if the sapphire crystals are interchangeable.

And btw, I don't know if any AD will do this for you.  The biggest problem will be finding a source for the domed crystal since Panerai doesn't sell this part individually to customers.

unliess you know someone from the manufacture who is willing to lost his/her job! Joking only. 
If you will go as far as letting a third party watchmaker to try to swap, and you have a second panerai with doom sapphire to compromise. Or you may start with finding a poor condition 212 from the CM for a spare set of bezel and sapphire.
