...tantalium than steel. I don't think it is as heavy as gold, but probably somewhere in between.
I am sure someone around has a more scientifical answer and could provide the relative mass index of both metals.
My wife does not wear anything else since I gave her the 282 as her Birthday present, and it has been more than four months already. She told me a couple of days ago "I don't think I can go back to those other watches that you have given me as presents in the past, like that...is Aquanaut the name?" Ha! PAM 1 - Patek 0!!

The only bad thing about it is that she has already made several attempts to steal my Radiomir Independent...but that will only happen over my dead body... (talking of which, I noticed some strange flavour in my food today ;-) )
