Officine Panerai

Hi all!

I've been toying with the idea of getting a panerai, and i'm about sure i've convinced myself to get one! HOWEVER, which one is still the problem!

I guess our Panerai EXPERTS here would be able to help me 'narrow' down the choice! Hope you guys don't mind helping me!

So, i'd just give a brief on the conditions of the PAM which i'm looking for:

1. NO braclet, must be a LEAHER strap.

2. Not a 'complicated' PAM, i.e, GMT Alarm, Chrono. Something simple with a clean dial.

3. A DATE function is a must.

4. Preferably a Manual, but open to 'automatic' if it's supposedly a bit PLUS factor.

5. Stainless steel

6. To be purchased from an authorized dealer, so, please consider models released only within past 2-3yrs? Not discontinued ones.

 

Anyway, i've sort of toyed with the ideas of PAM 164, 287, 292, 104. Well, the prices which i can afford is only within this range. However, i know there are so many different PAMs out there and i just can't seem to find it all!

So, can any PANERAI GURUS out here help me compile a list of potential PAMs worthwhile getting?

I have bought the PAM 287 last september and to be honest it is an excellent watch especially when you consider its esthetics, quality and its price.

The PAM 287 was my first Panerai and I want to upgrade it to the PAM 268 which is the Radiomir 8 days power reserve.

The PAM should be in the range of 6000 USD BNIB and should be able to get it for less if you know someone who has one in mint condition.

maybe if you are after smaller watch 40mm (yes it is small for Panerai)
look at PAM00048 but I wouldn't recommend it because you mast
have decent Panerai 44mm minimum

my first pam was a 287  and a very striking dial and i loved it  havent owned a 292 but i would still consider it  first   goodluck
