Here's to our love for vintage and a taste of the old world. Rad dial, 1950's, burned, brown and ugly, just the way they ought to be!! Makes the geiger go crazy!
Scott
Yes, exactly the way it has to be!
Happy 4th!
Best,
Nicolas, who wants to see the rest of the watch!

Where is the rest of the watch though?!
Or do you only own the dial!?
Cheers
Stephen
But, it's a nice piece of salvage! I've got a couple people interested in putting it to use. Wish I had my own case for this one.
Scott
Well, here's hoping you will get your good one soon!
Stephen
I've got my fair share of vintage Panerai. Yep, they are next to impossible now to get hold of. 15 years ago was a different story.
These dials are quite interesting and I'm always amazed at the craftsmanship that has long since been lost. The brown, splotchy dial was once jet black. It lost it's light fastness long ago. These dials were inferior with regard to the pigment composition. Yet still, the plexi is intact, cracked, but intact.

Here's one with less flash.

Well, would you care to share some of your other vintages with us here?
I'V only seen one vintage so far, and it is indeed awesome!
Although if i really did manage to get one, i don't think the skin on my wrist would agree very much ( i'V got highly sensitive skin, and gets rashes easily from "dirty" things, one of the reasons why i don't do vintages myself)
Cheers!
Stephen
