Mini SIHH in Amsterdam (Holland)
Last Saturday Richemont Holland and Gassan Diamonds (large diamond and watch reseller) organised a mini SIHH in Amsterdam. I was fortunate to receive an invitation.
I was hoping to see the new PAM312 because I have ordered one. Naturally I was also hoping to see the 3 2009 SE’s (28, 332, 341). Unfortunately they were not present but the 312 was! In my opinion: it’s a beauty. I have made a good decisionJ.
There were some other nice models present such as the FER24 with Minerva Movement, Radiomir Tourbillon (PAM316) and some others. I also had a nice conversation with the Panerai Brand Manager

Thanks for your response. I think that the new P900X range will be a big success. Why?
A manufacture movement is/feels/looks in my opinion more special than a standard (ebauche) movement. The new range opens the door to people who want a movement made by Panerai but cannot afford a P200X model/movement.
Panerai did also a good job presenting them in the new Luminor lineup with 1950 case en sandwich dial. With the case and dial they go back to their roots. In my opinion, the 1950 case and dial are also more special than standard Luminor case and painted dial.
I think that Panerai will expand this range in the forthcoming years (of course also because of the decisions made by swatch/ETA). What do you think will be next introductions? (my guess: hand-wound P900X, P900X in Radiomir case and an PVD/DLC model).

Next introductions may be 45mm Radiomirs housing the P.900x movements
That would be the most logical step for Panerai next year IMO. Whether or not Panerai will come out with a PVD/DLC or ceramic model using the P.900x will probably happen sometime in the future.

312 vs 279 and 233
Pierre, I've ordered a 312 also - arriving July.
Whats your view on the 312 vs the 270 and 233, especially the lack of the domed crystal on the 312?
