...photos with the coral, Nicolas! Both are lovely watches that combine refinement with a legible tool-watch type dial. My slight preference would be for the 8 Days (but only verrrrry slightly!)...and with such an excellent strap choice too! Awesome!

and collectable.
Just to add that reserve de marche for 322 is more than 55 hours and we have 2 possibilities to know when the watch stops:
- the second hand do not move (like on 198)
- the typical "tic-tac" of the old minerva calibre do not sound near the ear (only back RdM indicator for 198, as the JLC calibre is silent)

and I'm very happy to see a comparison of 3 great Radiomirs - PAM322, PAM249, and PAM198.
Great post!

PS. I would love to take extreme macros shots of the Ferrari FER24 w/ vintage Minerva movement someday to compare the finishing with the PAM322 (brown dial) and PAM309 (black dial).

used in the PAM309 & PAM322. I remember confirming this with Panerai last year.

I understand too that the movement in the 309/322 is Minerva's chrono movement without the chrono parts, but they didn't state it clearly whether the "chrono" is the chrono used in the Ferrari watch, or another chrono from Minerva as you know Minerva creates lotsa chronos!

Chad, Beverly Hills Boutique Manager, says the Minerva movement in the Ferrari Panerai is a new old stock movement while the Minerva used in the 322 and 309 is not a NOS movement. Hence, this means they are 2 different movements.
I don't know which movement the 322 and 309 is based on but it's not the same base as in the FER24.
