Apologies if this question comes up often, however I recently purchased a 164 and oftentimes hear/feel the internal mechanisms vigorously moving from time to time. I've never encountered this with any other automatics. This is my first Parerai and it was purchased over the telephone and shipped via UPS by an authorized dealer. I'm confident it is genuine, but worried the watch is damaged. Is it common for the wearer to hear and/or feel the watch move? It almost sounds like a spring is unwinding. Other than that it seems to be working fine. Finally, what is the recommended number of revolutions for this watch when placing it in a watch-winder? Thanks
(surprisingly there was no reply to this post) it's just the rotor. And it's normal.
so I am answering quite slowly. Some of us also have other jobs too (I'm busted now).....

No offense here, just fun.
Best,
Nicolas
and it's perfectly normal, no worries
/You will get used to it and who knows, perhaps you will like it (I do)
If you wear the watch tight, the wobble will not be so noticeable.
Cheers,
Asi
You will hear that noise on the 164, but also on all the Subs, like the 24, 25, 64 and 243.
Nothing wrong, here, this is absolutely normal, as Asi perfectly said.
As for watchwinders, pass on it, this is really not useful.
Wear your watch, or let it and wind it by yoursel, you will save some bucks, and you won't dammage your watch.
Best,
Nicolas
