Trying really hard to make a decision between one of these models for my first PAM.

Wanted to get your thoughts and insights on these two models and user experiences

more of a history-related piece go for the 111 with the downside that you have to keep winding the manual movement and no date.

If you want something to wear everyday then go for the 104.

 

My vote for 111

Your answer to this question will determine which one you should get.

If automatic, get the 104.
If manual, get the 111.

If your answer is I really don't care if either automatic or manual, then u should ask yourself the next question: "Do I need the date function on watch?"

If yes, then get the 104.
If no, then both 104 and 111 still in the game.

Now then ask yourself "Do I want a sandwich dial?"

If yes, then get the 111.
If no, then get the 104.
If I don't care, then both 104 and 111 still in the game.

If you're still undecided, just get the 111.  That's my preference

If you want sandwich, take a radiomir or a 1950.

For itls cleaner dial ( no date at 3 ), and for its manual winding movement, much more enjoyable than this noisy rotor on each automatic Panerai ( and some others, too ) movements.

There are some major deals for LNIB PAM 111 and 104's on the CM's these days.

Get a used PAM 111 now, wait a few months buy the 104 if you still desire

Yes i will be looking to get the watches BNIB

By the way, I also love to  wind my watch so I'll pick the manual winding PAM.
