Hey, I got a PAM219J recently from a friend.
But when I look at the Panerai logo engravings at the back as shown in the picture below, I realized that it's fully embossed.
I was told all PAM219J should have logo that's not fully embossed and just lines.

I also realized that the roller on the lever is the old type as shown in the pictures below.
I was told that all PAM219J should have a new roller.

I wish to direct a question to all the PAM219J owners.

If you own a 219J, can you kindly check the logo at the back to see if it's fully embossed & can i trouble you to open the lever on the crown guard to check if you're having a old or new roller version?

I bought the brand new 219J earlier in February from the sole Authorized Dealer (The Pendulum) here in Thailand. I believe the logo engraved and the roller are different from yours. Here are the pics...

Now people will be on the hunt for fully etched Pre-V OP logo on caseback vs. outline etched logo filled with black paint as a new criteria such as the 2 different Pre-V OP logos found on the PAM0 and PAM5 (if i remember correctly, the first batches of PAM0 and PAM5 used the remaining Pre-V OP logo dials made for the PAM195's, and the later batches of dials were new ones so the OP logo looked different).

You bought this PAM219 J100/400 from me sometime ago.
The earlier batch with lower serial number comes with
fully etched OP LOGO on the PAM219 caseback.

And for your information, there is no BIG DEAL on the
differences as I had come across several pieces.
Please do not FOOL people by asking high prices.
Give Singaporean a bad image!!! Sigh ……

I'm not selling this 219J.
I'm not selling anything below your price, so I assume I'm not disturbing your business.
As a matter of
Russell is my colleague in the same company and a good friend of mine.
We're both based in San Jose and Ang Mo Kio.
 
Yes, he got the 219J watch from you.
That's why no one has complained.
 
And, as I've highlighted many times in the forum, the 2 differences are a good difference which I like very much.
I've never meant to hurt you in anyway and have never mentioned you in any of my 219J posts.
The main purpose of the post is to just highlight the difference to showcase the pleasant surprise Panerai throw to us,
Not to sell the 219J or hurt anyone.
 
Russell has migrated from OP to AP and now PP.
He's only interested in 5710, 5711, 5712 & 5980 nowadays.
I just help him sold AP T3 & EOD.
 
He's now in Amsterdam & if you're headed there, you can meet him.
I'm headed to Japan trow.
