hi all...
does any one have any info on this pam?
afaik, there is only five made and it uses the famous girard perregaux 3 bridge toubillon as movement...
any comments and pictures, perhaps?
given that prices is not a determining factor, which one would you take?
1. pam077- girard perregaux golden 3 bridge tourbillon
2. pam315- radiomir tourbillon gmt (or any modern in house tourbillon)
and mostly importantly why?....
to me, the two comes very close but at the end i think the 077 wins hands down...then again, its just me..=)
regards,
Only 2 were made, in 2000.
It uses a GP movement, and the case is in Platinum, 42mm
The buckle is in WG.
As for the comparison with the GP Tourbillon under 3 golden bridges, I by far preefer the GP.
Why?
Simple!
This GP is a cult watch, vsomething you don't have to touch, to modify, to banalize.
A Panerai is not a complicated watch, and if it is, this is a non sense watch, even if nice.
My 2 cents.

hi nicolas,
very true...however, exclusivity aside...
gp's tourbillon is indeed an icon but is of a very classic design...(1-axis) and the power reserve is also less than the in-house toubillon which is of a 2-axis design.
so to me, its a very personal choice and each one is unique in its own way...
just a thought....
5 were made.
'officially' 2 were made in 2000 but another three were made in 2002 (with an outrageous MSRP of 200K Euros).
I agree with your and AT's opinion about this watch.
Asi
3 more OOR, I assume???LOL
Best.

I've seen and handled the PAM77 in person, and it is by far, in my opinion of course, one of the most unattractive Panerai's ever made. The triple bridge tourbillon just doesn't looks right in the Radiomir case, and the hour markers etched in the inner bezel doesn't help as well. And I never understood the reasons why Panerai made the PAM77 back then. If they introduced it today, it would make more sense but I'm still puzzled as to why they made it.
Not my cup of tea :P
Cheers,
Anthony

Had this pic saved on my computer. Sorry don't know who to credit this picture to

hi anthony,
thank you for the pictures!
i must admit that the watch looked way better in magazine pictures than the real ones.
i have always been a big fan of gp's 3 bridge tourbillon but this pam just does not do the "magic" for me....=(
thanks as always!
Look at these ridiculous numbers...This is not a Panerai, nor a GP, but a lot of money! LOL
Best.
