Hi,
I just bough myself a brand newPAM 192 Tantalium from a watch trader in Tokyo, I ts a very beautiful watch. The dial, the movement (eventhough it has no transparent backcase), the weight ohhhh it is jst perfect.
One thing bothers me though, it is a LE 300 of 2004 and I could still buy it brand new at 20% discount from pice list.
Anything wrong with ths watch guys?
Thanks
I am very happy for you to have find a new one.
As tantallium is not to much used for watch cases, I suppose there is not too much interest by larger audience, except collectors.
In real, it is a great watch as PAM 172.
You will enjoy to wear it.
Please share pictures on your wrist.

with a great movement (courtesy of bijo 'the baker')
It is certainly not a watch for everybody and the tantalium requires special appreciation.
Enjoy!
a sapphire on the back side (second picture)?
Very good idea to appreciate this rare chronograph.
Best,
Patrickh
This one was fitted with an aftermarket see-through caseback. Such a shame to hide the beautiful Lemania, don't you think?
Asi
for sharing this Lemania movement.
I suppose all Purists and specially all PAM 192 owners will appreciate to discover the hidden part of this watch.
Maybe, this could give some idea to Panerai to create see-through case-back accessories in different metal for their "hidden" watches.
Cheers,
Patrick
You're absolutely right!
BTW, We call Asi " Bijo "...
Don't ask me why...LOL
But this is the same person...LOL
Best, my friend.
Nicolas
Always a pleasure to see the hidden face of this 192....
Best.

Not often do we Panerai freaks get to see a picture of this movement. Thanks Asi and bijo "the baker" !
Cheers,
Anthony
Love the movement, very nice to see, enjoy it.

Awesome!!

And maybe because the 192 is a Purist Watch???
Great news to see people falling in love with this lovely and complex watch.
( Complex as underated, of course ).

Many companies think that their movements are internally tested to greater extents than the COSC and look at COSC as somewhat too common (one of them is JLC - you will not have COSC cerificates with PAMs that house a JLC movement. Don't forget that only the movement is sent to COSC - not the complete watch - and the certification is not not done by Panerai but is done by COSC.
The Lemania 1872 used in the PAM 192 is a fine movement with an excellent reputation. I wouldn't be worries at all!
Cheers,
Asi
Nothing to worried about the discount. The Tantalium is a good looking watch. Can't wait to see your wristshot.
Cheers
I think you all misunderstood me. I thought all Panerais come with COSC certificate. So when i received my 192 without it, i am worried that it might have been lost. so my question is does it actually (from Panerai factory) come without COSC?
If indeed it doesn't have it from the factory, then it s fine. But I am worried that Fedex had lost it.
Cheers,
so it's not lost.
Not all Panerai watches come with COSC.
Asi
I would be lost without you guys.
I will buy one more 192 for me to keep. Anyway, my AD recently reserved one PAM 322 for me (MInerva movement). I think I will buy that one too.
Many thanks
I do not know if Panerai will say where they have dispatched their 322 and 309 models around the world.
We could suppose the Major AD of each country will get 1 or 2 of each, at best.
In every case, we will be very happy to get one of these 150 rare beauties.
Regards,
Patrickh
