The unique hue of the tantalum case with the combination of blue hands is simply to die for. If the 192 was priced lower, I bet it would be one of the "hot" PAM's such as the PAM127, or if the dial and hands were in Tritrium, demand would be through the roof.
A couple people here in this forum have the PAM192, so hopefully they can share their thoughts as well as a couple pictures.
Are you thinking about getting one yourself?
Cheers,
Anthony

I owned a Pam 192, and I loved it for the reasons you put very well, and sold it for the reasons you said..
With a T dial, and not tghis greenish luminova, I'd keep it...This is a fantastic chrono, and I'd even accept to make an exception to the one ond only one legitim choron for me , The Mare.
Best.

I fall in love on both model and they are just great looking. I think Anthony has correctly point out the reason why its not that popular (yet), I agree the pricing is a bit high and that might put people off, but in my opinion its a great collector item. When you wear them, you can feel the weight and the strength of such material.... can't describe it in words.
I feel the greyish color looks like a worn out PVD (since I don't have any PVDs, its like a substitue for me), but the color of tantalium will never fate... beside its one of the hardest metal around, this metal is used to make anti-tank missle, it penetrates tank armour like butter.
With Panerai's military historical linkage, this tantalium seems quite suitable and brings out incredible strength of their product. Since these 2 models are the only tantalium model, someday they might be sought after.... who knows....
