I was in the locker room at the Greenwich YMCA this morning.  While getting dressed after my workout, I grabbed at my NY Yankees hat sitting at the bottom of the locker, forgetting that the Navigator was nestling in it.  The Navigator tumbled out and dropped about six inches on to the tile floor,  It hit the front crystal flush.  From what I see, there are zero scratches/abrasions and the watch is still keeping time perfectly.

. . . from two feet, without any effect on timekeeping at all. 

They might be pretty . . .

. . . but they're tough, too . . .

But you might see some later effects, especially if the impact bent case retaining tabs or some other small part inside.

I've gotten several watches from friends who where the case is almost oval so the back won't unscrew, yet they swear they never dropped it ...

except it flew a couple of feet across the locker room and onto the floor.  I was mortified having done the equivlent of wrapping a sports car around a fence post.  Sent it back to hublot and it is was repaired in amazingly short order.  I did the same with my Lange Daymatic and Anniversary except they fell a couple of feet onto carpet...  You might say I've got butter fingers and an absent mind.   My recommendation is to send it back it to ensure all is in working order (I sent back all three).  If nothings wrong, it should be a relatively quick trip but if something is wrong... then you'll be glad you sent it in vs. causing more damage by wearing it.
