From my visit to GO.
There has been numerous accounts of visits to Glashütte Original so i won't bother you with one more. It was a great visit in all respects and GO was extremely helpful, even finding the traintimes from Dresden.
There is one picture i took during the tour of the factory that deserves to be posted. It gives you an idea of the specialized tools needed to produce our watches.

Glashütte Original is by all accounts a manufacture that welcomes . . .
. . . visitors, and I would encourage anyone with even a passing interest to visit the Glashütte Museum and the manufactory. The tweezers must be a necessity, but I don't remember a toothbrush on any watchmakers bench during my visit ;-) . . .

They certainly take good care of their visitors, but i dont' think the toothbrush was neither for the visitors or for the watchmakers teeths. Maybe a watchmaker just realised that a toothbrush was the best solution to a problem. Somebody once told me that GO makes state of the art watches with technical best solutions of today, where A Lange & Söhne makes state of the art watches with the most technically complicated solutions. This is not said to start a debate about the two brands as i, probably like most of the people in here, likes both, but maybe the toothbrush ilustrates this different approach of the two companies.
