Well GO releases this beauty.As you know Art I've been playing now too much with my first GO choice.I came to a conclusion though and was waiting for Basel to try out and see in metal my choice.But now but now ,pure poetry pure class ,all the hair on the back of my neck are standing up .From the pics it looks perfect,especially the WG version.What can I say,manual movement(to me always a little plus, so much i was also considering the Pinverse)Stunning dial.The movement looks amazing too.i'm sooo excited I cant find the words.Off to Basel on sun and straight to see GO.I wonder when its going to be available.I'll post my impressions once back.Yours,Mo.

. . . are 42 mm diameter and 12.3 mm in height. According to the press release, the dial is frosted silver, using a process called l'argenture grainée . . . cordially, Art

Can't wait to see this in the metel

This is getting pretty close to precisely what I look for in a well made watch.

Just love the marine chronometre inspired dial. The time setting improvements make oh so much sense for a proper "Chronometer".

If someone could enlighten me (if not rob me of my delusions) as to the likely price, that would be apreciated (PM anyone?).

The mechanical features on the GO are incredible!

 

I like best.  The two that catch my eye are the Ceramic Perpetual and the Senator Chronometre.  Of course, I much prefer the smaller cases as well....it is very difficult to find just the right combination of elements--the idea of a custom made watch (the ability to vary size, color, metal or alternative material, etc.) would be the ultimate.

The black ceramic Senator perpetual strikes me as cool, calm, and collected for what is essentially a complicated design, and I can see this model working for the wrist-challenged amongst us. It's definitely not for formal wear, but since I almost never have dress up, the issue of it's limited suitability isn't a limiting factor for me. I can see where it would be an issue for a person who needs to wear it with formal dress. The Senator Chronometer, on the other hand, is to my way of thinking a nearly perfect watch, and one that I'd like to own . . . cordially, Art

This Senator perpetual has one of the most logical dial layouts of a perpetual for me. Although not everyone reads dates in the same way, Monday January 25^th is how I think of dates, so this just flows perfectly.
