Congratulations! You found a watch which combines simple elegance with unique artistry. It would appear to be at home for the most formal affair to the most casual. Wear it in good health.

you have shared with us. I went to the same shop on last Saturday and also purchased one. Surprisingly the diameter of this watch is only 38mm, a bit smaller than the usual 1845 Klassic and other GO Meissen watches. Fortunately it fits my wrist. I also saw a 1878 Moritz Grossmann in the same shop. A very beautiful watch but I decided to give it up because of its automatic movement. Anyway, it was a short but fruitful visit to this little town of Greenwich in Connecticut!
Thank you again KIH.

Hi Zhiming,
Glad I could be of some help. I see that you are a big fan of GO and Meissen, like me. Automatic movement is sometimes a "turn-off" for me, too. 38mm is just about right for my small wrist, while 40mm (Senator Meissen) may be over the limit. I realize that they do not advertise this particular model for some reason, so I guess that it is not known widely yet. This piece is great for someone like me who prefer white metal and at the same time is a big fan of Meissen.....
Since you seem to be in the tri-state area, we may meet someday somewhere.
Best,
Ken
to be in New York last week. Would be delighted to meet in the future when I come to East Coast again.
