It was a lovely evening with good friends, gorgeous watches and yummy food. Thanks to The Hour Glass and Kelvin for the invite. ;-)
The porcelain dial is so simple yet the work that goes into it is so enormous....something to think about ;-)

PS. Strictly speaking, Glashuette Original being based in Saxony has tried to collaborate with local talent like Meissen to make their special edition watches. Their nearest automobile Manufacture is the Glass Factory in Dresden....alas..belonging to VW, albeit...at one time producing the top-of-the-range Phaeton limousine. They cost more than BMW and Mercedes Benz cars

Of the watches, the Meissen appeals most to my taste (simple yet refined).
