I don't like date windows...
And I particularly dislike them at odd places like 4 or 4:30 but I have immense respect for the companies who go through the trouble of matching the background color with the dial.

I kinda disagree....
Big dates at 3 o'clock is just weird...is too big...so putting it at the 4 to 5 O'clock position is just more aesthetic pleasing.
On the non panorama date versions of SeaQ, the "small' date is at the 3 O'clock following conventional norms.
I like this watch a lot and hope it does well. The date is a positive element here for me. [nt]
