Simple ...
Use a light reflector (a white cardboard square) and you can mimic Master Jocke.
Just don't use Nikon. Their sensors are not "in house". Use Canon.

I'll admit to taking a long time appreciating the PanoInverse . . .
. . . in any form. When it was introduced, the PI was akin to a discordant beat in a musical passage . . . reserve and traditionalism were G O's aesthetic calling cards.
Since management decided to stick with the model, and has kept it in continuous production for ten years now, the 'shock of the new' has worn off.
I'll allow that it won't necessarily, or even probably, appeal to the average G O connoisseur. For those who can appreciate an overt celebration of mechanics, though, it's as tastefully executed as practically any other example I'm aware of.

Agree with you Art. This PI was really "something new" when it was unveiled. I was not convinced by the WG and PG versions but when I saw the steel one, I told to myself "I absolutely want one!" ;-)
I bought mine in 2011 and it's the first version with a thicker bezel. I prefer this one as all the elements of the dial are well organised for me. With the thinner bezel of the new model, they are more "lost" in my opinion ("too far" from the bezel and more specifically the double swan neck).
I owned a lot of watches but I know that this one will stay at the heart of my collection with few other watches.
