I received a nice treat this
afternoon. Art (DrNo) stopped by with some sweet treats. A
bagful of sweet, juicy persimmons straight from Uncle Jake's farm
So I had to taste a
few before heading out to dinner. The persimmons were
delicious!
Then we headed out to dinner at a local
restaurant to enjoy some poached shrimp and stone crab
claws.
Thanks again to Art (and Uncle Jake!) for the wonderful persimmons.

Hi Frederick, LOL, definitely poached and on a platter! This is at Gulfstream Restaurant in Century City. Stone crab season started mid-Oct so I've seen it being offered at several restaurants like Gulfstream and Mastro's. The claws seem bigger than I remembered when I had them a few years ago in Florida. It's tasty and hope you get a chance to try some.
