Boo! Halloween Vegas style....

Here's a few pics and video from this weekend's Halloween Party at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas.

The theme was definitely Halloween but it was also a VIP party to preview the Michael Jackson Immortal world tour coming up in December. So naturally the theme was based on Michael Jackson's Thriller. The party had several costume contests, with 'funniest costume', 'scariest costume' , 'most creative' and of course the 'best Michael Jackson' costume.

Our table floral decorations complete with severed arm and skulls:

Quick shot of the delicious buffet (hey, what do you expect, it's Vegas) with prime rib, grilled salmon, and other goodies:

And some cool looking Halloween desserts, even a Frankenstein head made of 100% edible chocolate:

Here's the biggest winner and the crowd favorite for costumes. The skull server brought out a room service table and opened up the silver lid to reveal a real severered head! (it's actually a husband and wife team that I heard has won the Mandalay Bay costume contest 4 years in a row).
