you need to allocate 15 minutes of playing and cuddles before you start typing. train him to go to bed on command and you've then got it sorted. he'll learn that he gets to play and then go to bed for an hour while you type away. i wish i could borrow him as i really miss the company they give.

hopefully househunting will be progressing quicker than i thought so you never know i may get me a puppy when i move to my new abode. a house not apartment.

i think everyone who loves us members feel neglected every now and then as it is an all consuming thing. joining the purists is like selling your soul to the devil

...hard to resist his sweet little face (especially when it is laying on my keyboard).  He's actually very patient for a (nearly) 15-month old pup.  Usually while I type he just lays at my feet.  Right now he is eating frozen banana out of his little red Kong toy.

...mini Dachshunds and not have pictures!!!?  I bet they are soooo cute!  Squeal!  A woman who lives two streets down has three mini Dachshunds; 1 wirehair, 1 longhair, and a smooth-coated piebald.  They are very cute, but fierce little things.  This is true to their nature as dogs that go to ground after their prey -- you've got to be tenacious when facing badgers and the like!  As a kid, my next door neighbor had a reddish-brown smooth Dachshund named, "Oscar Mayer" (like the hotdog).  LOL!

I didn't understand the video at first...

My computer speakers were muted and I was enjoying seeing Reign that I wasn't noticing the sound from the squeak toy.

I hope Reign doesn't find your rubber ducky collection, as many of those ducks "quack" when squeezed.

All our Labs want to do is play.  Always love seeing Reign.
