...and to visit friends who work there. I have several close friends in various departments at the studio, so I've enjoyed lunches and movies there. They've got a great screening room!
It's a beautiful, old historic lot.

LOL! Damian, you are too funny. My one friend is already married, and the other dating someone, but as you might suspect they are both lovely people (inside and out).
Cheers,

Since little over nine years I can call the city of Rotterdam my home.
According to Wiki: Rotterdam (pronounced /ˈrɒtərdæm/ ; the Latinised adjectival form for the city is Roterodamus) is a city and municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland , situated in the west of the Netherlands .
Home of Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus (sometimes known as Desiderius Erasmus of Rotterdam) (October 28,[1] 1466/1469, Rotterdam – July 12, 1536, Basel ) was a Dutch Renaissance humanist and a Catholic priest and theologian . His scholarly name Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus comprises the following three elements: the Latin noun desiderium ("longing" or "desire"; the name being a genuine Late Latin name); the Greek adjective ἐράσμιος (erásmios ) meaning "desired", and, in the form Erasmus, also the name of a St. Erasmus of Formiae ; and the Latinized adjectival form for the city of Rotterdam (Roterodamus="of Rotterdam").
Now you may think, why does he mentiond this old man? Well, every day to work by car or bike I cross the Erasmusbridge. Isn't it beautiful?!

Cheers!
The town I grew up isn't all that special. In the dead center of the area Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam and Utrecht we have the city of Alphen aan den Rijn.
There is the relatively new city hall.
And the iconinc draw bridge. Actually there are three exactly identical in a row, spread over some kilometers among this canal.
And one more from beautful Rotterdam. The cubic houses (kubuswoningen).
