



every chinese new year. This year I was fortunate enough to be home for the feast.
My dad made scallops, shrimp and sea cucumber, sticky rice cake with pork, whole steamed fish, soy sauce chicken, and of course the sweet new years cake. When I was little they would always tell me that I had to eat it to grow taller since the name is called "Lien Gau" . Well, they can't use that reason anymore. Now, if only I could use that line to get my kids to eat it...
