Feels like my tummy is transported back in time... the delicious cuisine was just as majestic as the place. Glad you went there! Awesome!!! Thanks for the post! The service there is superb! I have to dig my files to find pics of the dishes I had there last year. Hope I can upload it myself. I am hopeless with computer haha.. Meanwhile.. I am still waiting for your LA DUREE post! wink wink !!

Paris was unbelievable!  Thanks to recommendations from members of the TimeOut forum, we hit all the best macaroon stores including La Duree!  But the best one as far as texture AND taste has to be Pierre Hermes! 

Also Thank you for bringing that tasty indonesian treat it was delicious!  Pics to follow shortly.

Ming, don't stand on ceremony, we foodies shall share with other foodies whatever food we have if possible. I am glad you like the Kue Lapis!! It was packed with eggyolks, butter and sugar!! All sinfully oiliest goodies! HA! CH sends his regards to you. We are still at last phase of jetlag! Unbelievable, it takes us longer than usual. Could it be sign of aging?? Ha ha... I hope you and your sidekick are 'heavier' cos I am! Fondue and cheese and sweets and meats.. name it! So good.. I hope one day MTF arrange a Purists Foodies Trip to Singapore-Indonesia! I have long list of joints to introduce. Need at least 6nites. 3 nites in Jakarta and 3 in Singapore! Guarantee your tummy will be blissfully blessed! Ha ha..

Hi,
It was a pleasure meeting you, CH and the everyone else.  Had a fantastic time in Geneva and Paris.  Laduree macaroons were very good, but not nearly as tasty as the kue lapis Indonesian cake!
I've got a bazillion pics to download and cleanup.  Hope to post soon.

I should not have read your post on Le Maurice . Now I feel like catching the next flight to Paris so that I can have dinner at Le maurice again . Yes the food and service was fantastic .
